This is probably the most grandiose release of iTunes to date.
The installer is 35 MB. It includes a new updater, similar to the Updater in MacOSX, aptly named Apple Software Update. Also, Apple has now bundled the iPod updater software into iTunes according to Apple’s iPod software download page.
I have four machines on an APC Smart UPS 2200 in my office at work. Using two online howtos, I was able to easily install and setup nut and WinNUT to safely shutdown my four computers when the power goes out.
The first howto (How-To: Network your UPS) gave me the idea that I should do this in the first place. The second howto (How to use UPS with nut) gave me some direction on setting up nut on my Fedora systems.
